craaaaaab & more!

I took Alvin to Crustacean for his birthday and also for his first time. It was lovely =) We shared the drunken crab (cooked in wines) and the roasted crab (baked with lotsssss of garlic) and three bowls of garlic noodles (my fave & the best accompaniment to crab). He really enjoyed it and so did I!

Sunday we tried out this place in Midtown called La Trattoria Bohemia, which serves both Italian and Czech dishes...pretty interesting. I had the Spinach Ricotta Gnocchi (I said guh-no-chee =P) baked with mozarella cheese on top and he had one of the Czech beef dishes. We shared a dark chocolate amore--dark chocolate gelato with a strawberry sorbet-type center, garnished with raspberry syrup. I like this place...we're definitely going to go back.
